Product

Bostik EVO-STIK Gripfill Solvent Free

Gap-filling grab adhesive. Manufacturer TDS explicitly lists both plasterboard and cork among bonded substrates; interior-use product that needs protection from driving rain if used outside.

This is grab adhesive, no-nails, so everything true of that chemistry applies here too.

We may earn a commission from links on this page. It never changes which adhesive we recommend.

What it bonds

Where the manufacturer names a material, we quote them. Where we have assessed it ourselves, we say so and grade it lower. The two are never merged.

Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from loose material. Prime very porous plaster or fibre-cement surfaces with the specified diluted PVA system and let it dry.

Limitations

At least one face must be porous. Intended for interior use; external bonds must remain dry and be protected from driving rain, ponding and permanent wetting. Not recommended for mirrors or contact with bitumen.
