Permabond TA4550

Two-part toughened acrylic adhesive documented for plastics, composites and metals, with manufacturer data for PLA, PET-G, ABS, aluminium and steels.

This is structural acrylic, so everything true of that chemistry applies here too.

What it bonds

Where the manufacturer names a material, we quote them. Where we have assessed it ourselves, we say so and grade it lower. The two are never merged.

Preparation

Use clean, dry substrates and follow the current TDS for the exact grade.

Limitations

The substrate table does not establish every dissimilar pair. Printed-polymer recommendations outside direct tests are assessed, not manufacturer-listed.
